General Information

TDO Software
TDO Software

Our office uses an endodontic practice management software called The Digital Office (TDO). It is the cornerstone of our office and is used by all members of our staff. Designed by endodontist Gary B. Carr, every aspect of TDO allows us to diagnose and treat patients more efficiently and run our office more effectively.

The software consists of modules that structure the way in which we manage our patients. From the initial checkin process to the time a patient checks out, TDO allows us to enhance every aspect of a patient's office experience.

By using software specifically designed for endodontics, our staff have the ability to place patient outcomes at the forefront of everything we do. By having all recording keeping and charting occur digitally, we eliminate double entry and problems faced by more traditional endodontic practices.

The Clinical modules that we use are recognized as the gold standard in endodontic recordkeeping.

Our Communication modules are the most advanced in the field of endodontics. They allow staff to communicate rapidly and without any delays. Our final treatment reports are entirely customizable which ensure that our general dentists get the information they need in a timely manner.

Every module of our software has been thoroughly vetted by thousands of endodontists around the world.

We are proud to say that we are a TDO office.

CBCT

In our office, we use 3D cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). It is imaging technology that allows dentists to evaulate the underlying bone structure, as well as the nerve pathways and surrounding soft tissues. It also helps with implant planning/ placement, surgical guidance, and avoid any possible complications that may occur during implant positioning.

Laser

Our office offers laser treatment or LANAP protocol which is a less painful, more successful treatment alternative to conventional surgery. LANAP=LAR is the only scientifically, research proven methodology that results in true periodontal regeneration, new bone growth, and gum tissue reattachement. The laser treatment is one of the most successful protocol in treating gum disease because it can target the source of the inflammation without hurting or removing any healthy gum tissue, slow or stop attachement loss and decrease pocket depth, and allowing the body to recover from the chronic infection without the need for scalpel or sutures.

Benefits of laser treatment:

1. Less pain

2. Less bleeding

3. Less sensitivity

4. Less gum loss

5. Less swelling

6. Very little downtime after treatment

7. Less Post-op complications

8. Promotes regeneration of supporting gum tissues

9. Healing is perceived to be faster and more comfortable than  conventional surgery

10. Removal of dark spots in the mouth

MoraVision

Our office uses MoraVision. It is a digital steroscopic microscope system that delivers to the viewer an accurate, three-dimensional depth perception in real time, with the clarity and color fidelity of full HD 1920 by 1080 video resolution to each eye. It improves the quality of dental care by virtue or providing an unobstructed magnified view of the operating field, which raises the bar on improving early detection of dental disease and oral pathology, and increasing precision of dental operations.

NOMAD Pro 2

In our office we use the NOMAD Pro 2. This is a handheld, portable, digital x-ray. It  has many great features, but the ones that we enjoy the most is that it is very convenient, the patient can stay in the same room without having to gete up and go somewhere else, and there is very little exposure to radiation.
